Brett Paula Brennen took over the Ducks and Drakes Boutique Motel Backpackers from September 2014. Having decided to make a lifestyle change after years of working on the corporate treadmill in Australia, the opportunity that Ducks Drakes afforded was too good to pass up. For Paula, it meant moving back to New Plymouth where she was born and raised bringing her closer to her parents and extended family. For Brett, it meant the excitement of building a wonderful business amongst a lifestyle he enjoys. Brett is a keen stand up paddle boarder, loves playing guitar and in lieu of being able to play and coach baseball he is a life member of Petersham Leichhardt Baseball Club in Australia he has joined one of the local cricket teams
